The Georgetown University women's golf team lost a pair of matches on Saturday in the second day of play at the 42nd Annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga.

The Georgetown University women's golf team lost a pair of matches on Saturday in the second day of play at the 42nd Annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga.

The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic was played with a traditional stroke play loop at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Friday's opening round. The Hoyas were in 16th place among 16 teams after shooting a 34-over par 322 on Friday, placing the team in the "Black" Bracket

The Hoyas squared off against Michigan State in the morning round, falling to the Spartans, 3-0. In the afternoon round, the Blue & Gray lost to Indiana, 3-0.

Georgetown closes out the final day of the match play portion on Sunday, April 6, teeing off at 8 a.m. against Daytona State.
