Sophomore Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) shot an even-par 70 in the second round and is tied for 12th place overall and the Georgetown University women's golf team is in 14th place after the first day of play at the Gator Invite, being played at the University Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.

The Hoyas posted scores of 34-over par 314 in the first round and 28-over par 308 in the second round to finish with a 36-hole score of 62-over par 622.

Florida State leads the 15-team field with a score of 17-over par 577, while Michigan State stands in second place at 20-over par 580, Florida is third at 27-over par 587, Chattanooga is fourth at 32-over par 592 and Notre Dame is tied for fifth place at 35-over par 595.

Jo shot a 6-over par 76 in the first round, but fired an even-par 70 in the second round and moved into a tie for 12th place overall in the field of 80 golfers.

Freshman Katie Skinner (Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly) is tied for 49th place at 15-over par 155 following rounds of 9-over par 79 and 6-over par 76, respectively.

Sophomore Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day) is tied for 66th place at 20-over par 160 and freshman Simone Strauss (Palm Desert, Calif./Palm Desert) is one shot back, tied for 68th place at 21-over par 161. Dulieu posted scores of 8-over par 78 and 12-over par 82, while Strauss finished with an 11-over par 81 and 9-over par 80.

Senior Robyn English (Warwick, R.I./St. Mary Academy) stands in 78th place at 27-over par 167.
