Two Golfers in Top-15, Georgetown Tied for Seventh at BIG EAST Championship

The Georgetown women's golf team has two players among the top-15 overall and the Hoyas shot a 17-over par 305 in the first round and are tied for seventh place after the first day of play at the BIG EAST Championship, being held on the Watson Course in Reunion, Fla.
Louisville leads the eight-team field at 1-under par 287, with Notre Dame in second at 6-over par 294. Six teams are all within four strokes of each other, with Seton Hall third (13-over par 301), St. John's fourth (14-over par 302), Cincinnati and Rutgers tied for fifth (16-over par 304) and the Hoyas tied with South Florida at 17-over par 305.
Junior Alice Choi (Whitestone, N.Y./Bayside) and freshmen Liz DiVincentis (Durham, Conn./Coginchaug Regional) lead the Hoyas with scores of 3-over par 75, tied for 12th place in the field of 40 golfers.
Freshman Patricia Lee (Lone Tree, Colo./Highlands Ranch) is tied for 22nd place at 5-over par 77, while senior Audrey Dalton (Portland, Ore./St. Mary's Academy) is tied for 27th place at 6-over par 78 and senior Katie Skinner (Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly) is in 37th place at 9-over par 81.
