Georgetown Women's Golf Finishes Play at Lady Pirate

Lady Pirate Final Results Get Acrobat Reader

The Georgetown University women's golf team shot a 77-over par 941 and finished 19th among 20 teams at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, hosted by East Carolina University at the Greenville Country Club in Greenville, N.C.

Maryland won the tournament, firing a 15-over par 879, with Georgia State finishing second (18-over par 882), East Carolina (23-over par 867) third, UNCG fourth (26-over par 890) and UNC Wilmington fifth (34-over par 898.

Senior Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) led the Hoyas, tying for 41st place at 13-over par 229. After rounds of 4-over par 76 and 2-over par 74, respectively, on Monday, Jo struggled with a 7-over par 79 in the final round.

Freshmen Isabelle Galantino (Huntington, N.Y./St. Anthony's) tied for 57th place at 17-over par 233. She shot a 9-over par 81 in the final round after posting rounds of 5-over par 77 and 3-over par 75.

Sophomore Alice Choi (Whitestone, N.Y./Bayside) carded a 6-over par 78 in the final round and tied for 66th place at 19-over par 235.

Sophomore Stefanie Soelling (Everett, Wash./Everett) tied for 91st place (29-over par 245) and freshman Alex Douglass (Madison, Wis./Madison East) tied for 96th place (34-over par 250).

The Hoyas close out the Fall season next week at the Fighting Camel Classic, playing on Monday, Oct. 17 and Tuesday, Oct. 18.
