WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's golf team plays its penultimate tournament of the Fall season, starting on Monday, Oct. 10 at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, being hosted by East Carolina University at the Greenville Country Club in Greenville, N.C.

Twenty teams will play on the par-72, 6,056 yard course, with an 8:35 a.m. shotgun start on Monday, when the teams will play 36 holes. The final round of 18 holes will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

In addition to Georgetown, the field includes Bucknell, College of Charleston, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Elon, Furman, Georgia State, High Point, James Madison, Longwood, Memphis, Maryland, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Old Dominion, Penn, Western Carolina, William & Mary and Yale.

"We had a great practice round today," Head Coach Katie Brophy said. "I am really pumped about the chemistry of this group. We just need to go out and get things done."

Georgetown is coming off a tie for seventh place at the Nittany Lion Invitational and the team has two top-10 showings in three events this season. The Hoyas have a combined 315.5 team stroke average.

Senior Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) leads the team in stroke average at 78.75. She is coming off a tie for third place at last week's Nittany Lion Invitational, where she posted a 4-over par 148.
