Georgetown Women's Golf Teams Hosts Holiday Party

Dec. 9, 2011

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a get-together for some holiday cheer on Sunday, Dec. 4.

In their first season under the direction of Head Coach Katie Brophy, the Hoyas enjoyed a solid fall campaign. Georgetown posted two top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes, including a third place finish at the Fighting Camel Classic.

The team enjoyed lots of good food from Paolo's, Wegman's and Georgetown Cupcake. A White Elephant Gift Swap provided good-natured entertainment and generated a room full of hearty laughter for most of the evening.

The team Christmas Party served as a fun gathering as the team prepares for final exams this week.

Georgetown starts the spring 2012 season on February 26, competing in the Kiawah Island Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
