WASHINGTON - The No. 15/12 Georgetown University women's lacrosse squad (8-5, 4-2 BIG EAST) will host the No. 7/6 University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11-2, 4-2 BIG EAST) in a Saturday afternoon matchup at Multi-Sport Field. The opening draw is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network with Todd Harris and GU alum Sheehan Stanwick Burch calling the action.
Last weekend, the Hoyas fell to No. 2/2 Syracuse University, 22-11, at the Carrier Dome. It snapped a four-game win streak for the Blue & Gray who are currently tied for third in the conference with Notre Dame and Rutgers University.
