The women are coming off of a gold medal and undefeated record at the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse World Cup. Georgetown Head Coach Ricky Fried was the head coach for that US squad and will continue to be the coach through 2017.

Training sessions will be held from 1-5 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. on Friday, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. on Saturday and 8-11 a.m. on Sunday. The team will be selected Sunday afternoon and announced on www.USLacrosse.org.

The coaching staff invited 88 players from around the country. Two Hoyas will be participating including Georgetown junior Caroline Tarzian (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) and former Hoya jordan Trautman (C'09).

Those selected will return to the Hilltop in August for another weekend of training. The team will play together for the first time at the Stars and Stripes weekend October 10-12.

Fans coming to watch the sessions can park on campus and observe from the bleachers of Multi-Sport Field. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.
