WASHINGTON - Georgetown University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Ricky Fried announced the signing of 10 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday. The future Hoyas are in the midst of their senior year of high school with one interscholastic season remaining before coming to the Hilltop in the fall of 2018.
"This is a dynamic group of players and we're excited to have them join our Hoya family,” said Fried. “Their impact will be all-encompassing on the field, and we expect them to bring competition to each of their positions.”
The attackers are Celia Walsh from Walpole High School, Ali Diamond from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Mairead Higgins from Pingry School and Annabelle Zebrowski from Oak Knoll. The midfielders have four coming to the Hilltop. Katie Crager from Episcopal High School, Jordyn Sabourin from Notre Dame Prep, Isabel Ross from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and Annabelle Albert from The Lawrenceville School will all work for time on one of the midfield lines.
On defense, Ellie Kiernan from Georgetown Visitation and Olivia Buckman from Hillsborough High School will join the backline.
The Hoyas have concluded fall play and will begin practice in January 2018.
