Varsity Lightweight Coach

Adam Zimmerman was named as an assistant coach to the Georgetown women's rowing team in September, 2011.

Prior to Georgetown, Zimmerman coached at Franklin and Marshall College where he was in charge of freshman recruiting. While there, Zimmerman more than doubled the crew program to greater than fifty members.

This past summer, Zimmerman coached at the Bachelor Barge Club in Philadelphia for their under-23 pre-elite program where he lead crews to two bronze medals and one gold at club nationals.

Zimmerman is a recent graduate of Ithaca College and received his masters in Sports Management and Education from Millersville University while he was coaching at Franklin and Marshall.
