It was a heartbreaking weekend for your Hoyas on the road. After two tough losses this weekend in overtime, we returned on Tuesday to North Kehoe to play St. John's and win our last regular-season home game. Playing what felt like 10 games in 5 days weighed heavily on our legs and some players on our team got to play in some new positions. Courtney Kent, today's winning-goal scorer, played center striker today for one of the few times in her life and came away with a meaningful goal. Our home record stands at 9-1-1. Welcome back to the women's soccer blog. It's been a very busy week so far with three games in a five-day span. The first of which was against No. 1 Notre Dame on Friday. Although it was disappointing to lose our undefeated record, it was a hard fought game as both teams played well. We held our own and Notre Dame benefited from a somewhat questionable call by the referee, which our coach "quietly" disputed. We're all extremely hopeful to face Notre Dame in the BIG EAST Tournament. [+]
