She has worked hard to recover after two difficult season-ending injuries and deserves the chance to show everyone what a great player she is. 2012: Injured in the preseason and missed the entire season .. A BIG EAST Academic All-Star selection.

2011: Missed most of the season after an injury in the second game of the season ... Scored two goals in the season-opening win at George Washington.

2010: A BIG EAST All-Rookie selection ... Appeared in 24 games, starting 22 times ... Finished the season sixth on the team in scoring with eight points ... Second on the team with six assists ... Fifth on the team with 32 shots ... Scored her only goal of the season, a game-winner, in a 1-0 win at Pittsburgh ... Had two assists apiece at American and against George Mason ... Also assisted on goals in wins over South Florida and at Cincinnati ... A BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

Prior to Georgetown: A two-time member of the Region 1 ODP team and former member of the U.S. Soccer youth national team pool ... A five-time member of the New Hampshire State team, she plays her club soccer for FC Stars of Massachusetts, one of the premier club programs on the East coast ... A two-time NSCAA All-American, she also captained her high school team, where she is a four-time First Team All-State Selection ... In addition, she was the New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year in 2008 ... Also played basketball and ran track.

Personal: Born in Nashua, N.H. ... The daughter of Todd and Nancy Blain ... Has a younger sister, Taylor ... Enjoys ping pong, camping, hiking and Harry Potter ... Favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots ... Favorite movies are The Parent Trap, You've Got Mail and How to Train Your Dragon.
