Georgetown advances to the second round for the second time in the last three years
Nolan on Brenn: "A wonderful target player with silky skills, K.K. will be expected to lead from the front for us this year. She's a pure finisher and also brings others into play very well. This year will be her chance to step out of the shadows and show people what a good player she is."
2011: Appeared in all 21 games as a sophomore, starting five times ... Finished eighth on the team in scoring with five points ... Scored one goal and had three assists ... Tied for sixth with 25 shots ... Had a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Pittsburgh ... Also registered assists against American and Rutgers ... A BIG EAST Academic All-Star selection.
2010: Appeared in 24 games, starting once (Seton Hall) ... Third on the team in scoring with 15 points ... Third on the team with seven goals ... Also added an assist ... Scored a goal and had an assist in her first career game, at American ... Scored goals against George Mason and in the BIG EAST opener at Villanova and was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week ... Registered goals in three-straight games (Seton Hall, South Florida and Marquette) and against Siena in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... A BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Prior to Georgetown: A former member of the Region 1 and New Jersey ODP program ... Brenn played club soccer for the PDA Fire, consistently one of the best teams in the nation over the last five years ... She helped lead team to three national championship appearances ... A multi-sport athlete at Somerville, and represented them in soccer, tennis and golf.
