Nolan on O'Tousa: "Christina had to wait patiently to get her chance thus far in her career but by the end of our NCAA run last year was a huge part of our success. A real warrior on the field she competes every day in practice and in games. She has also emerged as a presence off the field and will help lead her teammates this year." 2010: Appeared in 19 games ... Started 13 times, including the last 10 games of the season ... A key player on the defensive side in the latter part of the season ... Had two assists in a 5-1 win over Siena in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... A BIG EAST Academic All-Star. 2009: Appeared in 12 games as a freshman ... Played a variety roles on the defensive side ... Helped lead a defensive unit that recorded eight shutouts ... Selected to the BIG EAST Academic Honor Roll. Prior to Georgetown: Christina is a seven year member of the Souther California Blues Soccer Club, one of the finest in the nation. She has won countless honors with her club team including a national championship in 2005. She is also part of the So Cal ODP program. In high school she has been Team MVP and is also a two time captain. |
