WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's soccer player Ingrid Wells (Montclair, N.J./Upper Montclair) was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned first team honors, while senior Camille Trujillo (Albuquerque, N.M./St. Pius X) earned Second Team All-ECAC honors.

Trujillo and Wells helped lead the Hoyas to their most successful regular season in program history, as the Blue & Gray finished the 2011 schedule with a 15-6-0 overall record. The 15 wins were the most in a regular season and tied for the most in a season overall with the 2010 squad. Georgetown finished in second place in the American Division of the BIG EAST Conference, earned a first round bye and advanced to the semifinals of the league tournament for the second time in program history.

Wells, who was named a First Team NSCAA All-American over the weekend, led the Hoyas in scoring this year with 30 points, tallying nine goals and a team-high 12 assists. She was third on the team in goals scored. Wells ranked fourth in the BIG EAST in points (1.43 points per game) and led the league in assists (0.57 per game), while tying for ninth in goals scored. Nationally, Wells ranked No. 12 in the country in assists per game and 50th in points per game.

The 5-3 redshirt senior was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year for the second-straight season and she earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors for the fourth time in her career. A candidate for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, recognizing the top player in the country, and a preseason All-BIG EAST selection, Wells is the all-time leading scorer in school history with 31 goals and 46 assists for 108 points, becoming the first player in program history to reach 100 points.

Twice during the 2011 season, Wells took part in training with the United States National Team. She was called up as part of a group of players from the Under-23 National Team to participate in training in early October and then departed for a two-week session with the full national team before the U.S. played Sweden in late November. After finishing final exams earlier this month, Wells has trained in Los Angeles and Arizona with the team as they prepare for a friendly with New Zealand in February.

Trujillo finished second on the team in scoring this season with 27 points, scoring 12 goals while adding three assists. The 5-5 forward was impressive in BIG EAST games, tallying 22 of her 27 points against league opponents. She ranked third with 22 points in league games and was second with 10 goals.

Trujillo was an All-BIG EAST First Team selection this year, her second all-league nod after being named second team in 2010. She exploded onto the scene in 2010 with 13 goals and 28 points, numbers she nearly topped this season. Trujillo is the all-time leader in goals scored at Georgetown with 34 and is third all-time in scoring 80 points.
