Softball Drops Final Game of Three-Game Series at No. 9 Louisville

The Georgetown University softball team (19-32, 3-15 BIG EAST) fell 3-0 on Sunday afternoon to No. 9 Louisville (47-2, 17-2 BIG EAST) in the season finale for the Hoyas. Georgetown concludes its fourth season of BIG EAST play.

The Georgetown University softball team (19-31, 3-14 BIG EAST) fell 4-0 and 11-0 respectively in a doubleheader at No. 9 Louisville (46-2, 16-2 BIG EAST). The Hoyas and Cardinals conclude the series tomorrow afternoon in Louisville, Ky.

Savarese Named to BIG EAST Softball Honor Roll

First baseman/outfielder Cara Savarese (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) was named to the BIG EAST Softball Honor Roll on Monday, April 23 when the conference announced its weekly awards. The senior went seven-for-eleven to lead the Hoyas on offense last week against Towson and Providence.
