2013: Started 45 games during her sophomore campaign ... Batted .250 with 30 hits over 120 at-bats ... Of her 30 hits, she had eight doubles and three home runs ... Finished the year with a .362 on-base percentage and 17 runs scored ... As a pitcher, Hyson started 19 games while appearing in 36 with 11 complete games ... Accumulated a team-high 171.0 innings and a team-high 151 strikeouts ... Held her opponents to a .285 batting average.

2012: Made 42 starts on her freshman year while appearing in 47 total games ... Ranked third on the team with a .252 batting average ... In her 115 total at-bats, Hyson recorded 20 singles, five doubles, one triple and three home runs ... Second on the team with a .391 slugging percentage ... Her 21 walks to go along with her nine hit by pitches led her to accumulating a .404 on-base percentage ... As a pitcher, Hyson appeared in 20 games, starting 15 of them, with a 2.53 earned run average ... Accumulated 92.1 innings while striking out 87 while holding her opponents to a .207 batting average.

Before GU: A two-year starter at Seton Keough and two-year starter at Chesapeake High ... Named to the Washington Post All-Met team, Baltimore Sun All-Met selection and Player of the Year, Baltimore Gazette Player of the Year, ESPN All-American Second Team and named Player of the Year by the Varsity Sports Network ...
