High School: Giovanniello was named 2009 New York State Player of the Year, helping Floral Park Memorial High School win the New York State Softball Championships...She is a two-time First Team All-State, First-Team All-Long Island, and First-Team All-Nassau County selection...She played club softball for Team Long Island Gold. Giovaniello is a member of the National Honor Society and earned high academic honors all four years.
