The junior won five-consecutive matches to get to the championship
2014-15: Koenen went 8-4 overall in singles play, including a mark of 7-4 in the spring, and 11-4 in doubles play... posted two three-match win streaks with the first running from Jan. 31-Feb. 15 that included wins over Dylan Owens of James Madison, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, Stephanie Elgregen of St. John's, 6-2, 6-3, and Taylor Nederlander of George Washington, 6-0, 6-2, the second streak ran from March 26-April 15 that included wins over Brittany Boys of Richmond, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, Riana Roberts of Morgan State University, 6-4, 6-2, and Alice Taylor of Norfolk State University, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4... had a seven-match win streak from Jan. 23-March 7 with partner Sophia Panarese that included wins over Norfolk State University, Campbell, James Madison, St. John's, George Washington, Towson, Navy and Seton Hall... won her last two doubles matches, with Sophia Panarese, over Samantha Schafer and Kate Pettee of Villanova, 8-0, and Mariami Dolashvili and Shannon Cleary of UMBC, 8-4.
2013-14: Did not appear in a match during the fall...Went 11-6 in singles play during the spring season while also posting a record of 10-6 in doubles...Won five matches in a row in which she defeated foes from Cal State Fullerton, Claremont-Mudd-Scripts, UC Riverside, Richmond and Providence College...Posted a six-match win streak starting April 4 that carried through to the end of the season, took down opponents from Seton Hall, UConn, UMBC, Old Dominion, Villanova and St. John's, victories over conference foes Villanova and St. John's were at the BIG EAST Tournament...Went 2-1 with Taylor Perz as her partner, 0-3 with Sophie Panarese and 8-2 with Victoire Saperstein....Won three matches in a row, two of them came with Perz as her partner while the other came when playing with Saperstein...Ended the season with a three-match win streak over doubles teams from UMBC, St. John's and Villanova while paired with Saperstein, the wins over St. John's and Villanova came at the BIG EAST Tournament.
2012-13: In Fall of 2012...Competed in five tournaments with a singles record of 6-8 and a doubles record of 4-5...Won the singles and doubles title at the Auburn Invitational...Claimed her fourth singles win of the fall at the Longhorn Invitational...Lost at the opening round of Regionals against Texas A&M's Anna Marmalat with the score of 6-2, 6-7(6), 6-1 and reached the fourth round of the consolation draw...Red-shirted the spring semester of 2013 due to an injury.... On the Dean's List...On the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll...Was a ITA Scholar Athlete...ITA All-Academic Team honors.
2011-12: Attended the University of Houston...Tied for the second-most wins on the squad in dual singles play with a 14-7 record at positions No. 3-6...Competed in every single dual single and double match...Posted a perfect 4-0 mark at the No. 3 spot...Posted a combined 7-3 record at the bottom two positions...Started the spring season with a 3-0 record...Opened season with Houston's lone victory against No. 6 Baylor...Won final five matches of season and eight of last 10...Tied for the most wins in dual doubles action with a 14-7 record at the No.2-3 positions...Posted the second-most singles wins during the fall season with a 9-5 record for an overall singles mark of 23-12...Impressive run through the singles consolation draw at the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals, winning four-straight matches including opponents from Texas and Texas A&M...Reached the finals of the Persona Legal Resources Cougar Fall Draw...In the fall, went 4-5 in doubles action for an overall doubles mark of 18-12...On the Dean's List...On the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll...Was a ITA Scholar Athlete...Team Academic MVP.
