2016-17: All-BIG EAST selection ... Nakagawa led the team with 20 singles victories on the year, also posting a 12-10 doubles record ... The sophomore started the fall season on fire with eight-consecutive wins, including a comeback 1-6, 6-4, 11-9 victory over Brooke Pilkington of Delaware in her first match of the year ... Put together a three-match win streak in February that included a 7-5, 4-6, 6-1 victory against Monet Willis of Temple ... The doubles pair of Nakagawa and Sydney Goodson led the team towards the end of the season, with wins over opponents like Rozel Hernandez and Carlee Conway of Navy ... Nakagawa finished the spring with five singles victories in a row, featuring an impressive 6-1, 7-5 win over Melody Taal of Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Championship.
2015-16: All-BIG EAST selection ... The freshman posted an 18-7 overall record in singles play, tied with Victoire Saperstein for most singles win, finished with a 20-6 overall record in doubles play ... Nakagawa posted two five-match win streaks, the first streak stretched from February 26 to March 16, took down opponents from St. John's, UC San Diego, Loyola Marymount, UC Irvine and George Mason, the second streak stretched from March 24 to April 29 and took down opponents from Seton Hall, George Washington, Richmond, Villanova and Marquette... Recorded a three-match win streak from January 29 to February 19 taking down opponents from Navy, Towson and Chicago ... Won two-straight matches at the Colorado Invitational against Laia Soler of Colorado State, 6-2, 6-2 and Emily Olivier of New Mexico, 6-0, 5-7, 6-3 ... Went 18-6 with her partner Victoire Saperstein ... Reached the semifinals of the ITA Regional Championships with Saperstein ... Posted a six-match win streak in doubles play from September 26 to October 18, took down opponents from Colorado State, Yale, UPenn, Liberty and Virginia Tech ... BIG EAST All-Academic selection ...
