WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's tennis program won its third consecutive match and its second conference win of the season, defeating Seton Hall 5-2 in New Jersey. The Hoyas conference record now stands at 2-2 and are 10-4 overall.

Graduate student Elizabeth Hamlin (Haverford, Pa./The Episcopal School) continued her hot streak, winning her fifth consecutive singles match. Hamlin won on court five, 6-0, 7-5. It also marked her eighth win out of the past nine matches.

The Hoyas swept the doubles competition as Victoria Sekely (Mississaga, Ontario/Lone Park Secondary School) and Hamliin won 8-6 at one doubles and Kelly Comolli (Newburyport, Mass./Philips Exeter Academy) and Madeline Jaeger (Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) won at second doubles by the same score. Earning a win at third doubles was Sophie Panarese (Milton, Mass./Milton Academy) and Michelle Pratt (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo), 8-1.

Panarese increased the Hoya lead by winning at fourth singles, 6-3, 6-0. Commoli won at number two, 6-3, 6-2 and the clinching point was won by Hamlin. Jaeger closed out the GU victories, 6-7, 7-6, 11-9 at third singles.

The Hoyas are home on Friday, March 29, against Morgan State. Start time is 11 a.m.
