Women's Tennis Concludes Fall at ITA Regionals

WASHINGTON – Women’s tennis traveled to Charlottesville, Va. this past weekend to conclude their fall schedule at the ITA Regionals, hosted by the University of Virginia. Senior co-captain Kelly Comolli and junior Sophie Panarese both lost their opening round singles main draw matches. But Comolli and fellow senior co-captain Madeline Jaeger won their opening doubles match against a pair from Maryland, 8-6. Panarese and freshman Sophia Barnard also defeated a pair, from Richmond, in their opening doubles match, 8-7(4). The women will now prepare for 2014 schedule which starts on Jan. 17.
