WASHINGTON - All-American Rachel Schneider competed at the week-long IAAF World Junior Championships event in the women's 1,500-meter run today. Already a standout with the track & field / cross country program, Schneider competed at the championships today in Moncton, Canada.

Schneider competed in the first heat of the championships, finishing seventh in the heat with a time of 4:20.99. She was the lone American in the heat and one of just two Americans entered in the event.

Schneider is already an All-American for the Hoyas as she was a part of the third-place women's indoor distance medley relay this past year.
