Nov. 6, 2008 Hi Hoyas, My name is Sam Trauth and I'm a sophomore, outside hitter on the Hoya Volleyball team. We are nearing the end of our season - only two weeks left in the Big East conference. Our current record is 5 - 5. Louisville and Cincinnati this past weekend were two tough losses, but the team is pushing "full steam ahead" this week in practice to prepare for another challenging weekend against UCONN and St. Johns on the road. These past couple days of practice the team has made new strides to push each other to the next level. Everyone has high hopes of adding two more wins to the Hoya Volleyball record. Our last weekend of Big East is the weekend of November 14th and we compete against Villanova and Seton Hall at McDonough gym. It will be Senior Night and we hope to see a huge, home crowd to celebrate our seniors', Caitlin Boland and Kit Niesen, dedication and accomplishments with the Hoyas.
