WASHINGTON - Georgetown University volleyball Head Coach Arlisa Williams has announced that registration for Arlisa Williams' Volleyball Camps at Georgetown is open. Four different camps for girls of varying ages, skill levels and positions will run throughout July at McDonough Arena and Yates Fieldhouse, located on the campus of Georgetown University.
Williams will host a Youth Camp, open for players between the ages of 8-12 from July 15-19. The youth camp is designed to introduce and enhance fundamental techniques of volleyball to players of all skill levels. During that week, Williams will also host a two-day Setter/Hitter camp on July 15-16 and a two-day Libero camp on July 17-18, both for girls age 11-18. The Hoya All Skills Camp will be held, the following week, from July 22-25. The format for each camp allows every camper to learn at the appropriate pace for their skill level with a staff to camper ratio of 1:9.
All campers will be trained by the Georgetown staff and current players, as well as additional area collegiate, club and high school coaches. Campers will be taught in the same manner as the Hoyas.
Space is limited for the 2013 Arlisa Williams' Volleyball Camps at Georgetown, so interested parties are encouraged to register as soon as possible. For more information please visit: http://www.hoyavolleyballcamp.com/home
