Georgetown Wins Women's Cross Country NCAA Championship

Fourth-place finisher Emily Infeld and the Hoyas win the team national title for the first time.

At Georgetown
• Competed in the 5,000m at the 2012 NCAA First Round
• Earned NCAA All-Region honors at the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Region Championships
• Finished 24th at the 2011 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships
• Ran a personal best of 16:36.16 for 5,000m at the 2012 UVA Challenge
• Ran a personal best of 4:24.77 for 1,500m at the 2012 Mason Spring Invitational

Prior to Georgetown
• The only four-time state champion in cross country in Oregon prep history
• Finished 15th at the 2010 Nike Cross Country Nationals
• A state champion in the 3,000-meter run as a sophomore and junior at the Oregon State Outdoor Track & Field Championships
