The Hoyas were able to secure strong performances in the men's distance medley relay (DMR) and women's mile to ensure more spots at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships held in Albuquerque, N.M., on March 14-15.

The men's DMR team set a school record in the 4,000-meter relay race with a second-place time of 9:29.11. The foursome of Amos Bartelsmeyer (St. Louis, Mo./Saint Louis Country Day), Mike Andre (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Township), Billy Ledder (Washington, D.C./Gonzaga) and Ahmed Bile (Annandale, Va./Annandale) bested the previous record by more than two seconds. Bartelsmeyer started the Hoyas off with a school-record setting time in the 1,200 meter frame, splitting 2:53.3.
