WASHINGTON - All-American Chelsea Cox (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) has been named the BIG EAST track athlete of the week following competition at the Armory Collegiate Invitational in New York, N.Y. this past weekend.

It was a successful two days for the senior, as she placed in both of her events throughout the meet. Cox ran the third leg of the relay, completing the 800 meters in a time of 2:07.9. She has helped lead the DMR team to the fourth-fastest time in the country and second-fastest in the BIG EAST.

Saturday saw Cox return to the track for a first place finish in 800-meter run championship.
