April 16, 2013

WASHINGTON - On Wednesday, April 17 Georgetown's Director of Track & Field / Cross Country Patrick Henner will be one of a number of coaches to participate at the Penn Relays press conferences. This will be the first of two days, the second will be on Monday, April 22, featuring coaches from the Philadelphia region and national track and field powerhouses including Penn, Villanova, LSU, Texas A&M and Oregon. Each press conference will run from noon-1 p.m. in the Donaldson Room at the University of Pennsylvania.

Henner will be available on Wednesday in addition to two Philadelphia coaches, Villanova Men's Track & Field Head Coach Marcus O'Sullivan and Villanova Women's Track & Field Head Coach Gina Procaccio. Also on Wednesday, the media will be joined by head coaches Ralph Spry (Auburn) and Curtis Frye (South Carolina).

Monday's press conference will feature Penn's Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Steve Dolan as well as head coaches from prominent national track & field programs such as Oregon's Robert Johnson, LSU's Dennis Shaver, Texas A&M's Pat Henry, and Penn State's Beth Alford-Sullivan among others.

Archived highlights from both press conferences will be available at shortly after their conclusion.

The 119th edition of the Penn Relays - the world's oldest and largest relay carnival - will take place April 25-27 at historic Franklin Field. Prior to that, the Hoyas will travel to Walnut, Calif., for the Mt. SAC Relays on April 18-19 and the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J., on April 19-20.
