WASHINGTON - Georgetown University freshman cross country standout Martha MacDonald (Toronto, Ont./Havergal College) was named to Canada's 2018 Pan American Cross Country Team. She earned one of six spots available for the junior women's team last month when she finished fourth overall at the Canadian National Cross Country Championships. MacDonald will represent Canada at the 2018 Pan American Cross Country Cup in San Salvador, El Salvador with the junior women's competition scheduled for February 17, 2018.
MacDonald recorded a time of 21:22.5 over the 6-kilometer course in Kingston, Ontario to place fourth at the Canadian championships.
