Women's Golf in Seventh Place at BIG EAST Championship

Sophomore Alice Choi (Whitestone, N.Y./Bayside) is tied for 12th place and the Georgetown University women's golf team stands in seventh place after the second round of the BIG EAST Championship, being played at the Reunion Resort in Florida.

South Florida shot an 18-over par 306 in the second round and leads the eight-team field with a 36-hole score of 28-over par 604. Notre Dame is second at 33-over par 609, with Louisville third at 47-over par 623. Georgetown is seventh at 67-over par 643, one shot behind Cincinnati..

Choi posted an 8-over par 80 in the second round and is tied for 12th place in the field of 40 golfers at 11-over par 155. Choi shot a 3-over par 75 in Sunday's first round.

Senior Joan Dulieu (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Detroit Country Day) and junior Katie Skinner (Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly) are tied for 27th place at 18-over par 162, while senior Eunae Jo (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) is tied for 31st place at 20-over par 164 and junior Audrey Dalton (Portland, Ore./St. Mary) is tied for 37th place at 25-over par 169.

Georgetown tees off at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
